Who: Representatives from each Public Speaking class.
When: December 2 (preliminary rounds) and December 4 (final round).

Department searching for two tenure-track positions (November 04, 2008)
The department is currently seeking individuals to fill two tenure-track positions. The first position will be responsible for supervising the basic course. The second position will be responsible for teaching in the area of interpersonal and intercultural communication. More information is available.

Faculty earn Achievement and Contribution Awards (November 11, 2008)
Mehdi Semati, Matt Gill, and Tim Coombs each received a 2009 achievement and contribution awards from the University. The awards are given in recognition of the faculty members contribution to the University.

Students win awards at Illinois Broadcasters Association (November 13, 2008)
The following EIU students won statewide awards last Friday at the Illinois Broadcasters Association conference in Bloomington:
