In order to graduate with a Master of Arts in Communication Studies, you need to complete or comply with the following:

• 3.0 or better GPA in all course work.
• 36 hours of approved course work.
• No more than 10 hours of "C" credit.
• No more than 6 hours of classes 4750 to 4999.
• No more than 9 hours of independent study, thesis creative project or creative thesis included on the study plan.
• Demonstration of comprehensive knowledge via core comprehensive exams followed by a thesis, creative thesis, or elective comprehensive exams.
• Completion of the program within five years of the semester you start.
